FAIR
October 5 - 6, 2024
Saturday from 10h to 19h
Sunday from 10h to 14h
The Lleidaairchallenge Aeronautical Fair is evolving to become an information, business and innovation platform for the aeronautical and aerospace sector.
The Lleidaairchallenge fair is the only aeronautical fair held in Catalonia. This fair aims to be a showcase for the sector in an unbeatable setting, Lleida-Alguaire airport.
The fair opens on a Saturday morning and closes at midday on Sunday. Visitors can arrive by road and enter the venue or pilots can fly into the infrastructure to enjoy the different stands, conferences, activities and performances that take place.
In 2023 there were 90 exhibitors distributed in three spaces: one, dedicated to the activity of New Space and new aeronautical and space technologies; a second, in the field of training; the third, in the aeronautical sector companies. The fair is also a space for the on-site sale and purchase of second-hand aircraft. Light aircraft and helicopters are also on display so that visitors can see and touch these aircraft.
There are also an average of 6/8 conferences per fair with themes related to the sector and its professional opportunities or experiences.
Drone and aircraft flight exhibitions can be enjoyed, and this year an air festival is being organised with aerobatic patrols and other demonstrations.
The aim is also to bring the new aerial mobility closer to children, which is why drone workshops are being held to learn how to fly these drones and try them out.
In addition, the activities organised by the Catalan Air Federation have organised exhibitions of different types of sport aviation, with gyroplanes, paramotors and model aeroplanes, as well as historic aircraft.
One of the offers is also the chance to experience the piloting of an aircraft by means of two flight simulators, one for commercial flights and the other for competition.
This unique event offers the perfect opportunity for interaction, knowledge and networking in the aeronautical sector.
The entire fair is accompanied by car and aircraft parking, a bar, food trucks and public toilets.
